        In the West German world of drugs and prostitution, Natja Brunkhorst plays a fourteen year old girl, Christiane, reaching out for acceptance. She finds it at a seedy disco where teenage junkies peddle their bodies for the price of a fix. Christiane begins to experiment with drugs, and soon must turn to prostitution to support her habit. Featuring music by David Bowie, 'Christiane F'. is the shocking story of an alienated teenage girl who must fight for survival after falling into the degrading scene of Berlin's Zoo Station.

        The soundtrack features a bonus German/English version of the classic Bowie track 'Heroes'.
