Jennifer Jones
I never knew Jennifer but was attracted to her in the movie "Love is a many splendid thing 1952"
and whilst serving in the Royal Navy I climbed to the top of the hill where she and William Holden
met many times and just prior to his departure for South Korea
I have since seen that movie 29 times

Jennifer Jones
A wonderful lady. I'll never forget her visit to our aircraft carrier in the Tonkin Gulf. She said: "I don't sing, dance or otherwise perform. I just wanted to be here to say how much I appreciate all you are doing....Give them hell"

Really the last of the great Hollywood stars. The golden Hollywood age is now consigned to the big screen and history books.
