Blackstar Video Review
David Bowie has always been a visual animal - the visual has always playd an intregal part to the music. The gallery below is just the start of what is out there - there is, obviously, so much. If you would like any pictures of Bowie or any Bowie item added here please e-mail (ihuppert5@aol.com) a picture with the title and I will add it here.
A visual record of everything Bowie-related is the ultimate goal - any help would be invaluable.
This is quite an unusual find and I've only seen one of them. A Japanese magazine from the 1970s or early 1980s which consists of some interesting photos. I have scanned some below. The copy I have is in our store and can be viewed here.
In 1999, Bowie's official site, Bowieart, released 2 sets of big postcards (8" x 6" inches each) of his lithographs which are scanned below. The first was a series of 4 self-portraits which, to me anyway, are extremely
Egon Schielenesque in their execution. Brilliant though and really get in to the great man's head. This is him, then, in 1996, beyond are perceptions of him.
The 2nd was a series of five Tarot cards Bowie originally did as lithographs in 1975.
As of Sept. 2012, Bowieart no longer seems to sale them. They do come in from time to time so check
here for whenever they're in.

If you look at Bowie's film output then it is pretty impressive especially when you consider the range of films. He has to be up there with, say, Bing Crosby as the most successful singer-cum-actor.
