I'll start it off: this Dvd set is worth it alone for Belinda Lee in The Feminine Touch. It's not even a great movie - it's a kind of Doctor in the House without the laughs - but it is that woman as a trainee nurse bathed in the dreamlike Eastmancolor that is something wonderous to behold. It's like the Goddess Venus landing on Planet Earth and deciding to work in the NHS. I swear I've never seen anything like it in my local Hospital. If this was the NHS in the 1950s then it's yet more prove how far the current model has fallen since those golden days.
I knew nothing about her before the movie, After I kept thinking that her on screen presence is as big and spellbinding as a Greta Garbo or Marlene Dietrich. I'm in love with someone I will never know! Life is a b#tch at times.
She's way too glamourous for the role. That mane of blonde hair deserves an acting credit on its own. Crafted like a moving work of art.
Don't take my word for it though. Get the Dvd set and see for yourself.
