Born Jennifer Lee Morrow in Los Angeles, 1962. Daughter of actor Vic Morrow (1932–1982) and actress-writer Barbara Turner, she grew up immersed in the film world and began acting as a teenager.
Leigh started in the early 1980s, with roles in Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982), Eyes of a Stranger (1981), and Last Exit to Brooklyn (1989). Her performances often combined vulnerability and intensity, establishing her reputation for complex and unconventional characters.
