This lovely Antique Original Oil Painting is signed to the bottom left hand corner P. Clevercley, and dates I believe to the 1960s, although I cannot be certain.

The Painting depicts a seaside scene of a pier, beach huts, swimmers and people on the Beach, and is painted in a naive style.

The Painting has I believe been painted on some type of thin board. The frame measures approximately 12.75 x 11.75 inches from outside-outside edge.

There is a small hole in the board underneath the pier which I have photographed.This I am sure could be disguised by someone with the necessaryskills. The frame shows signs of wear that are commensurate with age.

However, these are minor criticisms which do not detract from the Painting in my opinion, and I think simply add to its charm.

The style and subject of this painting would make it suitable to be hung in a variety of rooms.
