Putney Vale Cemetery and Crematorium stands on a beautiful site, surrounded by Wimbledon Common, covering 47 acres. Established in 1891 and as a crematorium in 1938 it has two service chapels and an extensive Garden of Remembrance. There is a Book of Remembrance that is displayed in the halls of memory at Putney Vale and the pages are turned daily. New graves are available though space is limited and the council (it is a Borough of Wandsworth cemetery) doesn't offer grave slection.Putney Vale Cemetery and Crematorium
