The Fear We are based in South London near Croydon, UK, and if preferred this item can be picked up by appointment. Just e-mail here. I also welcome the old fashioned cheque and po as it is cheaper to process and all orders are sent off same day as cheque received. Acclaimed Edinburgh-born actor Iain Glen (The Diary of Anne Frank, Silent Scream) perfected a London accent for his stunning performance as the predatory, Armani-clad gang leader in this chillingly authentic 1988 drama from Thames’ Euston Films. Directed by the award-winning Stuart Orme (The Sculptress) and featuring an impressive supporting cast - including Susannah Harker (House of Cards), Jerome Flynn (Soldier, Soldier), Jesse Birdsall (Bugs) and Anthony Valentine (Colditz, Callan) - The Fear is a disturbing snapshot of a hidden London, released here for the first time in home video format. Special Feature: brand-new commentaries on first and last episode with Iain Glen, Producer Jacky Stoller and Director Stuart Orme. To reserve this item when it comes in again please e-mail by clicking here and include country ordering from. I will then get back to you within 24 hours with availability, price including postage and methods of payment (paypal, cheque, which is preferred, po etc.). In some ways it is a lost masterpiece. See it to realise what I mean. Bowiesque cool and detached Iain Glen is superb, holding it all together like glue. Other than the clothes, the cars and the hairstyles nothing has dated - it still holds its power to grip. This 2 dvd-set seems to get harder and harder to find. Try and get it before it disappears almost completely. I have put a direct link to amazon.co.uk below as this is a good first place to start your search and, of course, when I'm able to get more I'll put them here. For the few copies that are about a fair price seems to be £25 - £35. I have seen prices of £80 plus but that is rare up to now. |
