Original UK 1983 12" picture disc edition of Bring Me Closer (Extended Version) by Altered Images, issued on the Epic label. Released during the later phase of the band’s career, this single shows a shift from their earlier post-punk/new wave sound into a richer, dance-oriented synth-pop style, characteristic of the early-to-mid 1980s British charts.

The extended mix of Bring Me Closer offers a more spacious, club-friendly arrangement with layered production and polished electronic elements, highlighting Clare Grogan’s distinctive vocals. The B-side track Surprise Me complements the A-side with a more melodic, atmospheric tone that fits the band’s evolving sound during this period.

This picture disc features eye-catching artwork and was pressed in limited quantities, as most picture discs of the era were intended as special editions for collectors.
