A-Haunting We Will Go. 1942. US. Black and white. 63 minutes. U.
For Laurel & Hardy fans this is mediocre at best. Anybody
else might even view this as rubbish. It was the second of five poor pictures the pair made for 20th Century-Fox in the early 1940s.
Why is it so mediocre? Well, it was written while they were on tour so Laurel
couldn't add his comic genius to the tail of crooks and coffins. And without
his input, there really isn't much you can recommend about this film.
1 Star Out of 5.
